Virginia Clarke Evans died February 7, 2011. She was born on March 10, 1912 in New Willard, Texas, to Charles Lafayette Clarke and Minnie Mae Manning. She graduated from Livingston High School in 1929, and before her death, she was the second oldest living graduate of Livingston High School. She married Almus R. Evans on March 2, 1930, and he preceded her in death on July 30, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson, Chad Oliver Evans. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Livingston, Daughters of the American Revolution, and First United Methodist Church of Livingston.
She is survived by her son, Clarke Evans and his wife Lynda, grandson Clarke ""Corky"" Evans, Jr., and wife Deana, grandson Wade Evans and wife Sherrie, grandson Keith Evans and wife Laura, grandson Craig ""Andy"" Evans and wife Allison, granddaughter Casey Evans, and grandson Darrell Appelt and wife Melanie. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Corky Evans, Wade Evans,Keith Evans, Andy Evans, Casey Evans and Christopher Evans.

Funeral services for Virginia will be held at 3:00 on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston with burial services immediately following at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Polk County Relay for Life at 3785 US Hwy 190 West., Livingston, Texas 77351, or the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
