Virginia ""Dean"" Holman - Matlock 82 of Livingston passed away Tuesday March 3, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will held 10:00 Friday March 6, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Matlock officiating. Burial followed in the Restland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday March 5, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM also in Cochran Funeral Home.

Virginia was born August 2, 1926 in Wolverton, Arkansas to parents Oliver and Oma Strasner Pemberton. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Virginia also loved to go hunting with her family, tending to her garden, painting and sewing. She had a great sense of humor she loved to share with everyone.

She is survived by her husband Edwin Matlock of Livingston, daughters Belinda Lummus of Magnolia, and Diane Holman of Houston, sons Dixon Matlock of Austin, and Shawn Matlock of Pasadena, brothers Eulis Pemberton, Alton Pemberton both of Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Damian, Jeremy, Heather, Kayla, Brant, and Brooks and eleven great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Mike Holden, Mike Carter, Glenn Goodwin, Jesse Goodwin, Dixon Matlock, and Brandon Allen.
