Virginia was born on April 21, 1939 in Houston, Texas and passed away on June 30, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a Baptist by faith and loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She loved hosting her annual Christmas party and looked forward to it every year. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Irene (Roark) Padgett; and siblings, Roland Padgett, Dorothy Dillard, Maydie Malone.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Pearson of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Pearson and Karen of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Brandon Pearson of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Brittney Holland and Austin of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Ryder Surrency and Paisley Holland, both of Livingston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Relda Parker and Leslie of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Shorty Padgett and Margie of Houston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Helen Currie and Fred of Mexia, Texas; sister-in-law, Evelyn Padgett of Fairfield, Texas; niece and husband, Tracy Redden and Larry of Livingston, Texas; nephew, Leslie Parker, Jr. and Krystal of Livingston, Texas; great-nieces, Lacey Redden, Abby Redden, Emma Redden, and Sadie Parker, all of Livingston, Texas; beloved pet, Gracie; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Virginia will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers: Jimmy Pearson, Clayton Padgett, Clifton Padgett, Larry Redden, Jr., Leslie Parker, Jr., Freddie Hensel, and Clyde Hughes.
