Virginia E. Wooten, age 76 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on April 14, 2013, at her home in Onalaska. Virginia was born on September 1, 1936, in Mexia, Texas, to parents Fred Nolan and Lee Nora Bosley Bailey.

Virginia is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Charles Erwin Wooten; daughter, Janet Wooten; brother, Johnny Bailey; and sister, Linda Foster. She is survived by daughters, Debra Walker, of Houston, Texas, Roxie Bogs, of Trinity, Texas, and Lisa Mix, of Lanesville, Indiana; sons, Bubby Wooten, of Onalaska, Texas, and David Wooten, of Independence, Kentucky; grandchildren, Lynn, Shawn, Wendy, Dana, Bubba, Bridgette, Charles, Blain, Brittany, Hannah, Alex, Katrina, Ryan , Aaron, and Brandon; seventeen great-grandchildren, with three on the way; brothers, Rodney Bailey, of Dodge, Texas, and Thomas Bailey, of Cleveland, Texas; sisters, LaVerne Wooten, of Houston, Texas, Nora Siddall, of Conroe, Texas, Maudene Hanak, of Brazoria, Texas, Joyce Hodges, of Cleveland, Texas, Rebecca George, of Pasadena, Texas, Darlene Bailey, of Cleveland, Texas, and Doris Ramsey, of Shepherd, Texas; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services for Virginia E. Wooten will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Carlisle Baptist Church in Carlisle, Texas. Rev. Dwayne Pollard will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
