IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vivian Inez
Fogleman
August 19, 1935 – December 6, 2024
With love and gratitude, we honor the life of **Vivian Inez Fogleman**, who peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on December 6, 2024, at the age of 89 in Livingston, Texas.
Born on August 19, 1935, in Rye, Texas, Vivian lived a life marked by unwavering faith, boundless love, and selfless devotion to her family, friends, and community. She was a devoted mother, cherished friend, and faithful servant of God whose impact on those around her will be felt for generations.
Vivian's heart overflowed with love for her family, and her legacy endures through her son, Benny, and wife Delana Fogleman, daughter in love, Janice Fogleman Sandstrum, and her grandchildren, Jana and husband Jonathan Paxton, Jeff and wife Kim Fogleman, Jerome and wife Wendy Wells, Josh and wife Kristi Fogleman, and Jeni and husband Curtis Hermes, and her great grandchildren, Kortlyn, Alyson, Madyson, Kaylie, Kendra, Kara, Nate, Hollie, Aidan, Lydon, Kasen, Shane, Hunter, Memory, Grayson, Graci, and Gentri, as well as her great-great grandchildren, Eloise, Emma, Grayson, and Landrie.
Vivian's loving heart is also reflected in the many other family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity. She is survived by her sister, Dollie and husband Harold Marshburn, and her brother, Roy and wife Dortha McAdams. Though she is now reunited with her beloved husband, D.C. Fogleman, her son, Ray Fogleman, and daughter, Judith Fogleman, as well as her parents, Oscar and Louise McAdams, and siblings J.B., Pat, Jodie, Dewey, Mack, Lillian, and Velma, Vivian's legacy of love and faith lives on.
Known for the aroma of her delicious home-cooked meals—especially her famous beef enchiladas and extraordinary peanut brittle—Vivian's cooking was not only a source of comfort for her family but also a means to support the churches she so faithfully served. Together with her late husband, D.C., she helped plant churches in Corrigan and Apple Springs, Texas, where their tireless efforts continue to impact lives today.
Vivian was a small woman in stature, but a giant in love, faith, and devotion. Those who knew her experienced the depth of her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the power of her prayers. She was known to pray fervently and consistently for her family and friends, often without them even knowing it. Vivian believed deeply in the power of prayer and trusted that God would answer every petition she placed before Him. Her prayers will continue to echo through the hearts of those who were covered by them.
Her life was a testament to the love of Christ, and her faith was the foundation of everything she did. She was a woman of humility, grace, and service, and her legacy will forever inspire those who follow in her footsteps.
Vivian's family takes comfort in knowing that she rests in the arms of the Savior she so dearly loved, and her influence will continue to guide them through their own journeys of faith.
We will forever hold Vivian in our hearts as the gentle giant whose life was a beacon of love, faith, and prayer. Her love never failed, her faith never wavered, and her prayers will never cease to have an effect on us.
Rest in His arms, Vivian. Your love, faith, and exemplary life have forged a path for us to follow. You are forever etched in our hearts.
