Obituary
Funeral services for Vivian Voncile Carpenter Lowe, 87, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Joe McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in the Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Lowe was born June 5, 1928 in Washington County, Alabama to parents, Willie Carpenter and Claude (McMillan) Carpenter, and passed away December 12, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Cotton Lowe; son-in-law, Fredrick Dawson; and grandson, Dustin Lowe.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Dawson of Livingston, Texas; sons, Rusty Lowe of Austin, Texas and George Lowe of New Braunfels, Texas; grandsons, Matthew Dawson of Spring, Texas, Daniel Dawson of Jacksonville, Florida, Sam Lowe of Georgetown, Texas, Ben Lowe of Austin, Texas, and Johnathan Cash of Austin, Texas; great-grandson, Eric Dawson of Tomball, Texas; great-granddaughters, Maggie Lowe and Lillian Lowe both of Georgetown, Texas; brothers, Buddy Carpenter of Mobil, Alabama, Freddie Carpenter of Marianna, Florida, Sonny Carpenter of Fairhope, Alabama, Trudy Carpenter of Spring, Texas, Donny Carpenter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Terry Carpenter of Citronelle, Alabama; sisters, Frances Counselman of Huntsville, Alabama, Merlene Hastings of Lakewood, Colorado, Carol Fay Willman, Patsy Jordan and Janice Johnston all of Citronelle, Alabama; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
