Pat Hall was born June 14, 1944 in Miami, Oklahoma to Wix Hall and Hazel Clara (Scroggs) Hall. He left this earth and was received into the arms of his Heavenly Father on January 20, 2023. He is preceded by his parents; first wife, Linda K. Hall; niece, Dina Grunden Cole; sister, Beverly Warren; nephew, Garrett Loehr; and brother, Kenneth Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynn Hall of Livingston, Texas; son, Patrick Sloan Hall and wife Leslie of Kingwood, Texas; daughter, Shanna Carrie Williams and husband Greg of Birmingham, Alabama; stepsons, Kevin Odom and wife Denise of Lumberton, Texas and Eric Odom of New Orleans, Louisiana;  grandsons, Bryce Walker Hall of Austin, Texas, and Andrew Bryant of Helena, Alabama; granddaughter, Linda Adele Black of Helena, Alabama; and sisters, Jean Grunden of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Kay Loehr and husband Alan of Seneca, Missouri; as well as many friends, nieces, nephews and son-in-law, Faron Black.

His family resided in Fairland, Oklahoma, where he attended the area schools. Pat loved sports, especially football. After graduation, he was given a football scholarship to Fort Scott Junior College in Fort Scott, Kansas. After one year of college he returned home.

The Vietnam War was on and Pat knew he would probably be drafted. To avoid being drafted, he joined the Air Force. He had the highest military clearance for the job he performed. After basic training and moving around to various bases, he did indeed end up in Vietnam. He arrived in the middle of the tet Offensive.

When his time in Vietnam was completed, he returned home to Fairland. There he went to work for B.F. Goodrich, building tires at the plant in Miami, Oklahoma. After 15 years there, the plant closed. He was transferred to the plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he worked for 16 more years and retired.

He later moved to Texas to be close to his children and grandchildren. He opened a trike shop in Onalaska, Texas alongside his brother-in-law, Carl Henry and later Kevin Kelly came to work there.

Pat was proud of his Indian heritage. He was a "card-carrying Indian" and was on the roll as a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. He was also proud of his service to his country. He was an active member of Blanchard Baptist Church until his health prevented him from attending. There he made many friends.

He loved his family, his country, and most of all, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be missed by so many.

He will be laid to rest in the family plot in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. Dr. Fred E. Alford II will preside over the service in Livingston, Texas and Fairland, Oklahoma.
