Funeral services for Walter Lee Cook, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Chris Borden officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Cook was born April 12, 1937 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away August 9, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Walter Cook and Zula (Thompson) Cook; and wife, Dois Cook.

He is survived by his son, Greg Cook and Heather of Caldwell, Texas; grandchildren, Brittany Williford and Travis of Livingston, Texas, Ryan Cook and Kyria of Conroe, Texas, Kaden Roskey and Kyler Roskey both of Caldwell, Texas; great-great grandchildren, Landon Williford, Lily-Mae Williford, and Walter Lee Williford; sister, Seenie; brother, James Taylor and Nancy of Deer Park, Texas; brother, Ronnie Taylor and Elizabeth of Pasadena, Texas; sister, Ruth Taylor of Onalaska, Texas; nephew, Dewayne Taylor and Kim; and nieces, Dena Whitington and John, and Teresa Taylor; along with many other relatives and friends.
