Funeral services for Walton Roy McNiel, 65, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Tim Thompson officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. McNiel was born January 30, 1954 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Virgil Lamar McNiel and Joyce Elaine (Reeves) McNiel, and passed away September 10, 2019 in Kingwood, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Wayne McNiel; and sister, Liddie Mae McNiel.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley Templeton and husband, Randy of Leggett; sister, Nancy Simons and husband, Johnny of Hortense; and sister, Barbara Whisenhunt and husband, Derral of Livingston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
