On January 1, 2022, Wanda Marie Ketner died in Livingston, TX. She was 75 years old.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Gaston Mazeres Sr. and Irma Mazeres, her 5 siblings, Gaston Mazeres Jr., Nettie Boudreaux, Reginald Mazeres, Margaret Mazeres, and Leverta Hines; and her grandson, Dustan Winkles. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Pam (Jeff) Winkles of Alvin, Texas and Teri (Dan) Holbert of Livingston, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Winkles, Jeffery (Ada) Winkles Jr., Jonathan Mazzoli, Megan (Sean) Alsop and Emily (Kevin) Turk; 9 great grandchildren, Nikolas Bonk, Tegin Bonk, Rebekkah Winkles, Athena Winkles, Kaylee Turk, Elizabeth Turk, Jaxson Turk, Andrea Alsop and Tyler Alsop.  She also leaves behind her 2 beloved dachshunds, Mylee and Lyvee.

Wanda was born on March 3rd, 1946 in Metairie, Louisiana.  Throughout her lifetime, she had a deep love and admiration for all animals. She helped raise many wild, exotic and domestic animals. Later she became a Lead Pet Specialist at Pet Smart until her retirement.

At Wanda's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society or Cancer Research Institute.
