Waunita Dawn Herndon was born November 14, 1931 and passed away April 10, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Dodd Herndon. Dawn as most knew her, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Dawn passed away at her son's home peacefully with Hospice Care, to which was greatly appreciated for the care that was provided during her final days. She was loved by all and she will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Strebeck; son, Wesley Wilkinson; brothers, Jerry Hauke, Johnny Hauke; and sister, Sue Baley. She has 3 granddaughters, Kelly Key, Charlotte Hathaway, and Courtney Sanders; great grandchildren, Tabetha Key, Samantha Batteram, Thomas Hathaway, Savanna Brown, Elijah Sanders, and Isaiah Sanders; great-great grandchildren, Taitum Trevenio, Rai Savage, Daniela Garcia, and Isabella Garcia. We will forever keep her memories in our hearts, we love you.
