Graveside services for William Wayne Murphy, 75, of Lufkin, Texas will be held Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Lesley Wilkinson officiating.

Wayne was born October 26, 1948 in Livingston, Texas and passed away October 7, 2024 in Lufkin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, William George Murphy and Ollie Dee (Zeigler) Murphy; wife, Hannah Murphy; and sisters, Myrtle Thompson and Susie Tipton.

He is survived by his son, Carl Murphy and wife Shannon; daughters, Carol Hoffer and Stacey Allen; and sisters, Ellen Evans, Shirley Lout, Dell Wood and Lynn Gordon; and brother, Jerry Murphy, Sr.; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
