Wendell Delano Lucas

Memorial services for Wendell Delano Lucas, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Mike Loftin officiating at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Wendell was born August 18, 1940 in Ennis, Texas to parents R.D. Lucas and Ola May (Lummes) Lucas and passed away on October 4, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later became a police officer.

Wendell is survived by his wife, Karen (Kilmer) Lucas; sons, Kevin Lucas, Richard Bryan and daughter-in-law Lena; grandchildren, Kristy Camarillo and John, Tyler Lucas, Mark Bryan; and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Martinez; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
