Memorial services for Wesley Ray Herring, 70, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Russel Tullos officiating.

Mr. Herring was born April 13, 1949 in Houston, Texas, to parents, John Wesley Herring and Clema Mae (Brown) Herring, and passed away February 7, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.  Wesley proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He also served as President to the Paradise Acres #2 Home Owners Association.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Frey) Herring; sons, James Herring and daughter-in-law, Sherrie, Jonathan Norton; daughters, Sherry Mowles and Penny Johnson; numerous  grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
