Graveside services for William Leo Childress Jr., 78, of Fulshear, Texas will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Lynn Sasser officiating.

William was born October 27, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away October 16, 2026, in Fulshear, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leo Childress Sr. and Wanda Irene Arnold Childress; sister, Kathy Bickley; brother-in-law, Jackie Heard; and wife of over 30 years, Darlene Childress.

He is survived by his daughter, Candice McLean and Cory of Franklin, Texas; son, Chris Childress and Stephanie of Madisonville, Texas; grandchildren, Cameron McLean, Cayla McLean, Courtney McLean, Connor McLean, Cody McLean, Nicole Childress, and Haley Childress; sister, Carol Heard of The Woodlands, Texas; and brother-in-law, Norman Bickley of The Woodlands, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
