William ""Bill"" Day Jr. age 84 of Livingston passed away Friday September 11, 2009 in Houston. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 15, 2009 at 10:00AM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Clifton Labbe officiating. Burial will be at 2:00PM in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston. Visitation will be Monday September 14, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will begin at 7:00PM.

Bill was born August 5, 1925 in Houston to parents William Day Sr. and Florence Kingsbury Day. He is preceded in death by his parents, and great grandchild Abigail Lynn.

He is survived by his wife Melba Day of Livingston, sons Mike Day and wife Erin of Houston, Pat Day and wife Lynnette of Spring, Joe Day and wife Marilyn of Spring and daughter Denise Murphy and husband Tommy of Livingston. He is also survived by is grandchildren Jennifer Day, Kimberly Brooks, Lindsay Oneto, Patrick Day, Candis Nunez, Brian Day, Emily Day, Mandi Pipes, Megan Murphy, and Macy Murphy, great grandchildren Leah & Ellie Oneto, Aubree & Braylon Nunez, and Carson Pipes.

Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Day, Brian Day, Brandon Pipes, Quatro Brooks, J.C. Oneto, and Bobby Field.
