Funeral services for William "Red" Edward Disotell, 85, of Rye, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., in the Centerpoint Revival Church located at 12426 Hwy 146 in Hardin, Texas with Pastor Dean Love officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Menard Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 in the Centerpoint Revival Church.

Mr. Disotell was born January 12, 1935 in Eros, Louisiana to parents, Raymond D. Disotell and Cora (Waggoner) Disotell, and passed away August 26, 2020 in Rye, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents. During his life, Mr. Disotell proudly served his country in the Louisiana National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Frances M. Disotell of Rye, Texas; daughter, Debbie Sherman and husband, Kalvin of Votaw, Texas; son, Raymond Disotell and wife, Victoria of Hardin, Texas; daughter, Cheryl Whitlock and husband, Robert of Bastrop, Texas; daughter, Carol Downs of Abilene, Texas; son, James Sloane and wife, Deborah of Dayton, Texas; sisters, Audrey Busby of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Mary McClain of West Monroe, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
