William Melvin Marquis

Funeral services for William Melvin Marquis, 74, of Longview, Texas will be held at Cochran Funeral Home Onalaska Chapel at 11 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026. William was born August 25, 1951, in Houston, Texas to Graham and Gloria Marquis. He graduated Stephen F. Austin High School in 1970 and became a self-employed businessman, operating the Reliable Vending Machine Company.

Wiliam is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Matthew Marquis and wife Amy and their children Ryan and Abigale; stepson, Brian Cole and Glenda Ramirez; stepson, William Cody Cole and wife Lisa and their children Kylie, Katie and Travis; stepdaughter, Kimberly Cole and Wesley Stephens; and sister, Patricia Marquis Morris.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers John and Graham L. Marquis.

Pallbearers: Matthew Marquis, Brian Cole, Cody Cole, Wes Stephens, Ryan Marquis, Travis Cole. Honorary Pallbearer: Ron Arnold.
