Funeral services for William Bruce Swansey, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery on Duff Rd. in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Swansey was born February 18, 1936 in Port Isabel, Texas, to parents, Bruce Kine Swansey and Jean (Mizzel) Swansey, and passed away February 3, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carol Jean Swansey.

William is survived by his daughters, Ahmuree Sowell of Point Blank, Texas, Shilo Brasher and husband, Jason, of Livingston, Texas, Je'Rene Swansey, also of Livingston, Texas; son, Will Swansey and wife, Laura of Tomball, Texas; daughters, Florisa Dixon and husband, Nick of Sugarland, Texas, Billie Jean Haneline of Spring, Texas and Tina Ball of Baytown, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and 3 sisters;  along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
