William "Bill" Sylestine
July 16, 1933 – November 17, 2013
Services for William "Bill" Sylestine, 80, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at the Indian Presbyterian Church and interment will follow at Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with a wake service starting at 6:30 PM.
Bill graduated from San Jacinto High School and then attended the University of Houston on a scholarship in basketball and played for Guy V. Lewis. He was a member of the University of Houston Letterman's Club, the "H" Association.
