Obituary
William ""Bill"" Wallace Brown 82, of Livingston passed away Tuesday November 4, 2008. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 8, 2008 at 1:00PM at the First United Methodist Church of Livingston, with Rev. Don Willis and Rev. James Frazier officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be Friday November 7, 2008 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel
Bill was born September 17, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Henry Marshall Brown and Lucie Palmer Brown. He later attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Science class of 1951. Then married his wife Sara Jane Cloyes in June 1956 in Pittsburg, PA. He was also a member of several organizations including, Lions Club, Methodist Mens Prayer Breakfast, and the Texas A&M Alumni Association.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Sara Jane Cloyes Brown, brother Henry Brown, and sister Helen Raymond.
Bill is survived by his daughters Nancy Caroline Brown of Harlingen, Catherine Ann Brown of Portland, Oregon, Helen Elizabeth Brown of Houston, and Sydney Brown Murphy of Livingston, son in law Matt Murphy Jr. of Livingston, and grandchildren Matthew Murphy, Helen Murphy and Jessica Murphy all of Livingston. He is also survived by his brother Charles Brown.
