Funeral services for Wilma Aunita Elliott Goins, 89, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Beech Creek Assembly of God Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Don Goodwin and Rev. Lucas Swinea officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Goins was born April 14, 1930 in Chester, Texas, to parents, Brooks Elliott and Annie (Lamb) Elliott, and passed away May 29, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudolph Goins; son, Ronny Goins; grandson, Ricky Goins; granddaughter, Rashelle Goins Mills; and great-granddaughter, Robyn Rashelle Mills. During her life, Ms. Wilma was a devout Christian who loved to study and teach the Bible. She also loved to sing, hunt, fish, and work in her flower beds. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Ruddy Goins and Jenett Shaw of Groesbeck, Rodger Goins and Brenda of Trinity, and Rodney Goins and Irene of Livingston; daughter-in-law, Leslie Goins of League City; a very special niece who is more like a daughter, Jeannie McCarty of Alvin; and grandchildren, Becky Riojas, Ryan Goins, Rene′ Goins, Cody Goins, Holly Goins, Shaun Goins, Shannon Goins, Ray Goins, and Roxanne Goins; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
