Wilma LaVerne Novak, 74, of Rye, Texas was born September 23, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away June 27, 2023 in Rye, Texas.

Wilma is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica Penticoff of Houston, Texas; great grandson, Jessie Penticoff of Houston, Texas; sister, Mary Nasbaum of Arkansas; brother, Jesse Latham of Iowa; sister, Paula Marz of Harlingen, Texas; granddaughters, Rebbecca Johnson, Wendy Newberg, and Nikki Barrera, all of Spring Branch, Texas; daughter, Laura Johnson of Spring Branch, Texas; great granddaughters, RiLeigh Johnson, Regan Johnson, and Alaina Johnson; and great grandsons, Franky Barrera and Rowen Newberg; along with numerous other loved ones and friends.
