Mr. Wyatt Brisco Matthews, 89, of New Caney was born December 30, 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia to parents, Wyatt Brisco Matthews Sr. and Nettie Rachel (Hyde) Matthews, and passed away September 4, 2017 in New Caney, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his county in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clemmie B. Matthews; son, Wyatt A. Matthews; and wife, Jessie J. Matthews.
He is survived by his grandson, Wyatt Charles Matthews and Christy of Spring, Texas; grandson, David Allen Matthews and Amber of Springtown. Texas; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Matthews of Splendora, Texas; great-grandchildren, Emmi Matthews, Pierson Matthews, Evie Matthews, Dawson Matthews, and Gwendolyn Matthews; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He is survived by his grandson, Wyatt Charles Matthews and Christy of Spring, Texas; grandson, David Allen Matthews and Amber of Springtown.
