Joe Lerma's Obituary
Services for Joe Lerma, 99, of Houston, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Father Clifton Labbe, S.V.D. officiating. Interment will follow at Stryker Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, with the rosary at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 27, 2014, also at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Lerma was born on February 8, 1915 in Driskell, Texas and passed away on May 23, 2014 in Baytown, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Escolastica (Torrez) Lerma; wife, Margaret Lerma; and daughter, Linda Jo.
He is survived by his niece and husband, Evelyn and David Diaz of Houston, Texas; niece and husband, Sulema and Paul Reyes of Baytown, Texas; niece, Janie Polo of Houston, Texas; nephew, Bobby Turnipseed and his wife of Baytown, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
